Our Troop uses Scoutbook to keep digital records of rank advancement, merit badges, and awards.  

ScoutBook uses the same user ID and password as the BSA's My.Scouting website.  Scouts, Leaders, and Parents have their own accounts. Parent accounts will be linked to their child's Scout account. 

While you can create your My.Scouting account, yourself, you will eventually need to link it to your BSA ID number. This can be provided by Troop leaders after your registration paperwork has been fully processed. The BSA has IDs for all Scouts and for all registered adults.
